Chapter Ten

Echo shifted in the bed onto her side. The blanket fell away, revealing her shoulder. Mindi leaned back against her pillow and eyed the newly bare skin. She licked her lips, tempted to lick and kiss Echo’s shoulder.

If she pressed one kiss there, it would be hard to keep from dropping more all over the sexy bear shifter’s body.

Echo looked so peaceful in her sleep. Her dark eyelashes rested on her cheeks, while her lips, still swollen from Mindi’s kisses, were slightly parted.

The temptation to taste those lips again was strong.

Instead, Mindi reached over and opened her nightstand drawer and took out one of her small handheld cameras.

A woman this beautiful deserved to be captured.

The soft sunrays filtering in through the windows provided soft, natural light. It was the perfect setting without her even having to try to provide one.

Echo’s hair was spread out on the white pillows and was a direct contrast. Her smooth tanned skin was creamy, and Mindi knew from experience it was sweet.

Mindi removed the lens cover and flipped the camera on. She peered through the viewfinder and aimed the camera at Echo. She pressed the shutter button, snapping a few pictures.

Mindi paused when Echo moved, stretching her legs out. She rolled slightly on her back. The blanket was dangerously close to falling away from her.

Mindi grinned and pulled the cover off Echo. Her large breasts were now revealed; her dark nipples grew into taut little buds. Mindi zoomed in on Echo’s mounds, capturing the beauties in the natural light.

Echo’s body was flawless and should be photographed and hung somewhere for all to appreciate.

Mindi shifted on the bed, getting up onto her knees. She wanted to take advantage of the natural look of a woman well-loved.

Echo had Mindi’s love marks all over her body. Something resonated inside Mindi as she gazed upon the markings.

Mate her.

Her wolf must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed.

Her animal apparently wasn’t happy that none of the hickeys she’d left on Echo were a true claiming bite.

Mindi focused on the swell of Echo’s hip when her lover rolled onto her side. She opened an eye, staring at Mindi.

“Oh, come on. It’s too early for pictures.” Echo groaned. She covered her face with her hand.

It didn’t keep Mindi from taking her photos.

“You’re beautiful first thing in the morning. I want to capture you waking up,” Mindi murmured.

“But I’m naked.” Echo tried to hide underneath the blanket.

“Your body should never be covered,” Mindi said.

They played tug of war for a moment. Mindi won, dragging the blankets completely off the bed. Their laughter filled the air. Mindi loved the sound of Echo’s laugher.

She smiled and gently ran a hand up Echo’s calf. “How are you a shifter and shy about your body?”

It just didn’t make sense. Their clothes never survived the change. Bears weren’t too different than wolves. They were used to being naked around other people. It was normal before and after pack runs.

Echo sighed, then brushed her hair from her face.
