One of the easiest ways to share a game is offline, giving players a seat at your computer and possibly guiding them through levels when needed. However, giving people the privilege of using your account is a gamble for all but your closest friends. A safer option is to allow people (especially large groups of people) to play your games without requiring Gamestar Mechanic accounts, as described in the next section.

Sharing games online

Gamestar Mechanic offers you a number of methods for sharing stand-alone versions of your games. You can see your options in the sidebar on the right side of the game’s page, as shown in Figure 10-1. By using the buttons there, you can easily set up links outside of Gamestar Mechanic that point to your game and allow viewers to click and play it.
