“Nice! Up top, Harrison!” Bowie, ever the jock idiot raises his hand for me to slap but only manages to have his wife pull it back down with a roll of her eyes.

“Who’s that she’s sitting with?” I ask Mercy, ignoring Bowie and Mils having a silent battle through eye contact alone.

“No idea,” Mercy shrugs, then sips back on her wine. “Not her fiancé if that’s what you’re wondering. You know the one she cheated on, with you!” She grins wickedly while my other two guests look up at me with wide eyes. They’ve suddenly forgotten their argument and are now casting judgment my way.
