For the same cotton textiles, the washing methods differ as the towels are made of soft cotton textiles and the denims are made of hard thick cotton textiles. How to be distinguished? A water level sensor has to be used to help the test. The specific method is: after the water injection, the pulses drive for 32 s, compare the change before and after the pulses starts. For easy absorbent cotton textiles, when the first pulse signal is issued, almost all cotton textiles have absorbed so much water that no big change would happen when the second pulse signal is issued. So the less change in water level can be judged to be the soft cotton textiles like toweling etc., whereas the denims that are made of dense and thick cotton textiles do not suck enough water when the motor is running for the first time. It would continue to suck water when the motor is running for the second time. So it can be determined to be the hard textures if a large amount of change happens at the water level (Fig. 3.5).
