System monitoring

Monitoring of system is very important. If you have problem in system like system is working slow. Linux provides many tools to monitor system. One of the monitoring tool in Xubuntu is task manager which graphical based tool. To open click start button then system and open task manager

Once Task manager is opened it will show like that

The details of fields is bellow :-

CPU

Processor shows usage

Memory

Shows the Total physical memory usage and Swap memory usage.

Process

The Pan shows the List of running process, its process ID, RSS, which is actual memory consumption by the process, CPU shows the processor consumption by each process.
