Flashlight, Please!

When you have to walk down a dark street at night, it helps to have a flashlight. It may not give a lot of light to the situation, but it gives enough to keep you from falling into potholes.

Sometimes your flashlight comes in the form of other people. They speak with a voice of authority that feels like God himself must have put them directly onto your path. You may not have expected them, but God knew your need and so they rushed in and kept you on your feet. He knew adding their beam to yours could make all the difference.

Take a look around today for people in your life with energy-efficient “flashlights” who can help you move on to be victorious over whatever is lurking in the shadows. With a little help, you’ll eventually move again into a faith that says, “Lord, I’m going to walk today totally trusting you, and I don’t even need a flashlight.”

Between his Word acting as a lamp to guide your feet and your faith to keep you moving forward, you’ll be on your way rejoicing. It’s going to be a great day!
