Our mate was perfect. Her scent. Taste. Voice. Everything about her called to Rhys and me. It nearly killed me watching Rhys play with her and not give her what she needed the second she needed it. He didn't believe in instant gratification. He loved the long slow game that made it feel even better, but as he pointed out, somehow, our little human went into heat. That is not normal in any human/shifter relationship. For an Omega, sure. But for a human, it usually takes months, for some years, of assimilating and taking your mates cum to build up what is needed to birth shifter pups.

No matter the cause, we would celebrate and make sure our mate took as much seed as possible to start breeding. She was ripe and delicious. Unlike human dating, when you are given your mate, you will be a perfect match. Of course, at times, you will argue and disagree with your mate, but only about the trivial things. On everything that matters, you will be compatible. Besides understanding how precious a mate is, shifters and other creatures already know that there is nobody else in this realm or any other who will make them feel the way their mate does. There is no need to shop around for somebody to compare; a mate is the one, every time. All jokes aside, the gods never get it wrong.

We had Tara naked and spread out on the bed I had built years ago. The mattress was specially ordered to accommodate the frame. We never used it or this room. It was sacred and meant for one female.

"Are you ready for more?" Rhys asked our beautiful red-haired angel as he stripped out of his clothes. I was naked as soon as her ass hit the bed.

"Yes, my Alphas," she moaned. Our poor little mate, she was unraveling. It was going to be nearly a week of around-the-clock sex, but we first had to clearly mark and claim her.

"Tara, little wolf, open your eyes and look at us," I spoke slowly and gently. She did and smiled.

"Yes," she asked.

"You have a choice," I stated, and Rhys nodded. "You don't have to be ours. We won't claim you unless you want us. Claiming you with our marks doesn't change anything, except it grants the three of us strength and a mental connection. You will still have privacy, but if you need us and don't have your voice, we will hear and respond. I'm afraid the heat is going to continue even if we don't claim you. I'm sorry you fell into our world without any time or understanding, but we promise to get you through this. We love you already. We might not know your favorite ice cream or movie, but we know that your soul calls to ours and that we were made to love one another. Even if you chose to walk out this door, our feelings and desire for you would never change, but we would respect your choice.
