In the second line of code we have created a collection of graphics (ChartObject). Our graphic will be part of this collection of graphics, which in turn is included in the first sheet of the document. If instead we had written the following line of code "ActiveWorkbook.Charts.Add " Excel would have added a new tab to our document containing only a graphic.

The units used in the fifth line of the code (Left: = 20, Width: = 400, Top: = 50, Height: = 200) shown above correspond to points. In an inch (25.4 mm) there are 72 points, that is, our graphic will be 7.05 cm high by 14.11 cm wide.

What is indicated the margin that you leave in your graph to the left and above is respectively: "Left and Top".

When selecting the type of graph, once the equal symbol has been written in that line of code, we can press "Ctrl + space" so that VBA shows us a list with all the options available. This tool is very useful when choosing from the available options instead of trying to find out the correct code.
