In an attitude of allowing, all resistance in the form of thoughts of negativity or doubt is lessened when you know you are a child of God. The concept echoes what Jesus said: “that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent us.” ESV “The Father I and are one, just as you and I are one.” By deductive reasoning: A=B, and B=C, then A=C. The Father and Son are one spiritually, therefore the Father and you are one spiritually. Is that revolutionary thinking? Is it not what Jesus was saying? We become more like the Father when we become more like the Son.

“Spirit is not a mystic concept. The spirit of a person is manifest in her aliveness, brightness of his eyes, in the resonance of her voice and in the ease and gracefulness of his movements. These qualities are related to and stem from a high level of energy in the body... Sensing the harmony between the internal pulsation of our body and that in the universe, we feel identified with the universal, with God. We are like tuning forks vibrating at the same pitch.” Alexander Lowen. Lowen also believed that change begins with self acceptance.
