Dustan

I was a fucking stalker. Cassie goddamned lived with me. I shouldn’t be following her like some creep. I was better than this. I had work that I could be doing right now. I should be doing that, but instead, I was at the university watching with my guards my woman chat with her new friends. I didn’t understand why she had lunch with new friends and didn’t sit with my brothers and her best friend Jade.

Cassie was wearing a sexy dress that showed every perfect curve of her delectable body. If I’d known she was going to wear that out, I wouldn’t have let her leave the house. I watched her walk from class, the dress swishing around her knees showing glimpses of her thighs, and I almost came in my pants. The sexy black heels insinuated that she was a lot taller than she was, her legs looked like they went for days. I was so fucking temped to go and throw her over my shoulder and take her back home and ravished her.

I held back though, because I know how important university was for her. I wanted her to tell me about her day and introduce me to new friends. She didn’t talk about her new friends though, and I wanted to know why. I knew she had made some, as she went to the movies, shopping, and clubbing with them. She hadn’t been out with Jade, and I knew she’d been invited to a girl’s day with the wives and hadn’t gone. Something was up and I wanted to know what.

She was sitting with a group of four other people. Two of both sexes. One of the guys she sat with kept inching closer and closer. He tried to touch her all the time, but thank fucking Christ he didn’t, because I wouldn’t be hiding any longer, I’d be killing him and breaking every goddamn bone in his body, first starting with his fingers. Then I’d grab my woman and take back to my cave, er… home and show her who she belonged to.

“Mr. Silverman.” I ignored Owen because I’d told him to call me by my first name. “Mr. Si…Dustan, it’s my job to watch over Cassie. I will tell you if anything happens. There’s no reason for you to be here.”

What the hell was I suppose to say now? That I was watching Cassie because I was becoming an obsessed stalker? I had amnesia and wanted to know why my woman hadn’t introduced me to her friends? Why she’d stayed by my side when I’d been in the hospital and when I’d awaken, but now she got out of any outing I wanted to go on? It was like she didn’t want to be seen with me.

“I know, but fuck this.” Coming out from the shadows, I started walking over to Cassie, but paused and turned to Owen. “You’re going to learn this if you haven’t already. That there is my woman. My soul mate.
