Chapter Five

Jamison

I’d considered just saying to hell with it and taking Kelly to Monique’s that night. Let her see the club in all its sexed-out glory of naked flesh, hand jobs, and lashed backsides. Let her ears fill with moans, groans, and cries of release. There was no way in hell, however, her shy feels-o-meter would be able to handle that much all at once.

I texted Monique, letting her know my plan. The club didn’t open until four on Friday, so I would have plenty of time to introduce Kelly to my kinky side without interruption.

My palms sweated and stomach felt light when I pulled up to the address Kelly had given me the night before. Right off Hamilton, a two-story white house, the stairs leading to her second floor apartment accessible from the narrow driveway. She stood at the top of the stairs and started down as I pulled in, a hesitant smile on her face.

I hopped out of the car to open the passenger door, my insides like a giddy middle schooler with a massive crush on the most popular girl in class. Her brown hair hung straight down her back, and she’d gone for jeans, little sneakers, and a loose blouse and sweater. Like the girl next door all teenaged guys enjoyed wet dreams about, Kelly nailed it. Everything about her turned me on.

“You look great,” I said as she walked around the front of my car to the door I held open.

“Thanks.” Her smile wobbled as she glanced up at me before sliding into the passenger seat.

She hadn’t hesitated to climb in. Hadn’t questioned where I would be taking her first, thank fuck. I just wanted to get there and get every secret aired so we could, hopefully, move forward.

The thought she might shy away from my other side, that she might find it disgusting or sick, played all kinds of fucked-up havoc with my head.

I climbed into the car and backed out of the driveway, breathing in the soft scent of flowers she carried with her. Although fall had hit full force, she filled my car with thoughts of springtime. New beginnings.

“Want to stop and get a coffee first?” I asked, heading south on Route 1.

“I’m good, thanks.” She clasped her hands on her lap and stared out the windshield, shifting every few seconds.

“How’d you sleep last night?”

“Like crap.” Kelly sighed and glanced over at me. “How about you?”

“Like crap.” I grinned over at her.

“Are you going to give me a hint?”

I turned my attention back on the road before those blue eyes of hers sucked me in. “I’d rather just show you.”

She huffed and crossed her arms. “I had so many damn thoughts racing through my head last night and this morning that you wouldn’t believe it.”

“Try me.”

“The worst was that you belong to some dark society -- snuff films and that sort of debauchery.”

I grimaced. “Not that dark.”

“Ah… a hint.” Her gaze seared the side of my face. “So it is something sexual.”

I didn’t reply, and we drove a few miles in silence.
