It isn’t easy to not get jittered at the mere thought of traveling with that one person who claims your mind-space at all times. Throwing in thefactthatit’s atthetender agewhen theflutter of the heart is within the most audible tangent, Dhwani and Naman were no exception. The moment they sat together on the flight, all they did was to imbibe every single moment spent together, amplifying it to multi-folds. The five-hour flight seemed like a minute and they already wanted time to slow down.

While Dhwani held onto her emotional frenzy and yet explored her heart through the marque of friendship, Naman just lived the moment. Gasping at every small touch and looking forward to living the emotional foundation that they had built for themselves, they both immersed themselves into each other’s presence.

“What do you think about Aakash?” Naman asked out of the blue as they munched on the sumptuous aircraft meal.

“What? What happened to him?” Dhwani inquired.

Naman was tuned to sharing every little thing that bothered him with her. Right now, he couldn’t wait to talk about the uncanny feeling he felt about that little interaction he had with Aakash back at the airport. Even earlier, Aakash had saved an isle seat for Dhwani, where in, he sat at the center and Rohit at the window side. While he had offered her to sit with them, she had decided against it and moved a few rows ahead to find a place with two vacant seats, so that she could be with Naman instead. While the latter definitely comforted him, the weird shenanigan’s Aakash was mustering was not ignorable. And he so hoped they were just that, ‘antics’ and not something deeper, not something messier.

“Nothing. Just asking what you think about him.”

“Umm… I don’t really think about him… if that’s what you’re at!” she said, looking at him, her expression curious and yet, protectiveness surfacing through her eyes.

He smiled at her warmly, knowing they were a team… no matter where life took them. He didn’t answer instantly.

“Tell me. What’s bothering you Naman?” she asked, concern doting her expression.

“Nothing really. Don’t know why but felt something weird in his words back at the airport. But then… don’t think over it. Nothing… it’s nothing!” he said, affirming his thoughts to himself more than to her.

“Are you telling that to me or to yourself? What exactly happened? May I know?” she didn’t give up.
