An interesting property of this standardization is that contributions of all features to the data scatter are equal to each other, and moreover, to the number of entities, 8! This is not a coincidence but a property of z-scoring standardization.

The data in Table 5.7 projected on to the plane of two first singular vectors better reflect the products – on Fig. 5.5, C companies are clear-cut separated from the others; yet A and B are still intertwined.
