Enumerable is also part of Linq and it comes packed with helper methods to create ... well, "enumerables" (collections you can iterate through; what Python calls iterables). Those three lines are saying:

Create an enumerable by filling it with zeroes, a numPeople of times. (23 zeroes, for instance).

Map each 0 value in the enumerable we just created replacing it with a random number between 1 and 365. C# calls map Select as we've seen before.

Cast the enumerable into a List.

The underscore _ means Any, if you remember, and it's a way to write parameters when they don't really matter in our logic or could hold any value. I could have written it like this:

.Select( x => random.Next(365) + 1)
