Heiress Paris Hilton leaves the Los Angeles Municipal Court May 4, 2007. Hilton was ordered to spend 45 days in jail for violating the terms of her probation for alcohol-related reckless driving. Mainly, Paris Hilton is famous for going to jail. Her trouble started off with a DUI. That means driving under the influence of alcohol. As a result, the court suspended her license. She continued to drive anyway. Police pulled her over for going 70 mph in a 35 mph zone. She was driving in the dark with her lights off.
The judge sentenced her to 45 days in jail. On June 5, 2007, she was locked up in an all-female jail in Lynwood, California.
