As quietly as possible, Batman produced a Batarang with a wire attached to it. He prepared himself for anything.

TWANG!

Luckily for Batman, his aim was as good as ever. He couldn’t even count how many hours of mind-numbing target practice he’d put in back at the Batcave with his Batarangs. But it proved worth the effort on this night.

Batman made his way to the building’s ledge. Now it would just be a simple matter of reeling her back up to the rooftop. They needed to have a serious talk. And Batman had to be sure that she wasn’t going to depart in the middle of their conversation.

But in the three seconds it took Batman to cross the roof, Catwoman had already sliced his line and was running into an alley down on the street below.

There was always a chase when it came to Catwoman. Without thinking twice, Batman jumped over the ledge and shot his grapnel.
