Plastering a fake smile on my face, I nodded at Eris, "Good to see you. I'm here on a date and wanted to treat her to dinner."

"A date with this.....tiny thing?" She asked and I could feel Charlotte tense.

"Nice to meet you." Charlotte said, and I knew she felt uncomfortable with her being here.

"Charmed, I'm sure." She sneered, her eyes sizing up my mate, "If you needed a good fuck, you could've asked me. I've missed you."

I noticed Charlotte's hands curl and fist her dress and could feel her body shake. Rage shone in her eyes as she glared at Eris.

"There's no need. All I need is my mate." I said, drawing up my sleeve to reveal the glow of my fur.

"Mate? Her?" She asked incredulously, "You said I would be your mate one day."

"Well you’re not. Fate chose wisely for me." I held my mate closely and her hands reached up to fist the fur on my chest, causing the soft glow to brighten.

"This won't last long. And when you want a taste of a real female, you know where I am." With a curl of her lip, she spun on her heel and marched away.

"Fucking bitch." Charlotte muttered and I chuckled.

"Damn right." I agreed.

"Have we decided on what to order?" Brandy asked, adding an extra sway to her hips and a breathy tone.

Ignoring her attempts, I twirled a strand of Charlotte’s hair on my finger, "Do you know what you want mate?"

"Oooh. The garlic and steak soup sounds yummy!" She gushed as she read from the menu, "So does the deer patties! I can't decide which to get."

"She will be getting both and I will have the sirloin steak with deer patties." I said handing her the menus.

She took them with a scowl and I flashed an amused grin as she walked away.

"Why do you look so happy?" My mate asked suspiciously.

"The petty jealousy of other females amuse me."

"Why does that amuse you?"

"Because they know I have you, and they are jealous. They don't hold a candle to you doll. Your beauty is exotic and breathtaking. Your laugh is like a breath of fresh air. And they will never have what we have."

"Which is what?" She laughed.

Trailing my claws gently up her leg and brushing her inner thigh, I heard her sharp intake of breath.

"A spark that ignites by our passion as we let the hungry flames lick up our bodies. Entwined together with desire that burns, searching to sate its unquenchable thirst for more."

"Fuck that's hot." Charlotte gasped.

Cupping her mound, I lick from her neck to the shell of her ear.

"What about everyone around us? What if we get caught?"

"You ask too many questions love. Simply be in the moment." I said and pressed on the hooded button above her cunt that made her buck, "Better stay still or Brandy will know how much pleasure my hand is bringing you."

Sure enough, Brandy walked toward us with her hands weighed down with plates of food.
