Chapter Seven

Carter

“What if my reason is a little more complicated than that?” I ask.

She giggles and says, “I was wondering about that. I think I might have a similar kind of thing going on.”

“Similar thing?”

She looks at me and finally asks, “Aren’t you talking about liking for me to swallow? Like a fetish?”

I smile and say, “Well, everything you do with me and for me is breathtaking. But no. It’s not that.”

She nods. “Okay. Well, what I think we should do is keep talking for the next six or seven hours without you ever getting to the point.”

I laugh out loud at that one. She’s proud of herself and takes a sip of her coffee to sort of hide the pride. I say, “I didn’t forget to bring condoms. I intentionally didn’t bring them.”

“So, you never intended to cum inside of me from the outset,” she says. “But why? Did you think I was on the pill?”

I shake my head. “No. I wanted to cum inside of you then and I want to now.”

“Then why wouldn’t you have brought…” Understanding dawns on her and watching how that understanding changes her expression is actually very interesting. There is surprise on her face followed by a brief flash of distrust and then the distrust disappears. She says, “You could have told me.”

“You wouldn’t have minded?”

She says, “Hold on. We’d better be very clear here. You want to cum inside of me without birth control because you want to get me pregnant, right? It’s not just the risk. You want me pregnant. Is that correct?”

I nod. “Yes. You’re correct.”

“You should have told me,” Nicole says. She’s not angry.

“You would still have come?”

She shrugs. “Well, I don’t know. I’ll tell you right now, though, that the deal we have was negotiated with different terms. I probably would have been willing to carry your child for you with the compensation discussed but that isn’t our deal now. The deal we have now is clear and limited in scope.”

“Are you saying you want to renegotiate the arrangement prior to committing to having a child with me?”

She chuckles and says, “You’re Mr. Wishful Thinking right now. We’re a long way away from anything like that. What I’m saying is that you should have been honest and upfront from the beginning. If you had, we wouldn’t have to talk about this now because I probably would have agreed and you would have spent the same amount.”

“Honesty. The best policy,” I say.

“See, Sweetheart,” she says with a laugh. “You do get it.”

“I told you the reason was complicated.”

“Wanting to have a baby isn’t complicated,” she says with a laugh. “It’s a natural and normal thing.”

“But there are other factors that…”

“Okay, Carter. Stop all this. Just tell me what you want to tell me, okay.” She’s still smiling but she’s not going to let me bet around the bush anymore.

I stand and then lift my shirt up and over my head. She rolls her eyes and says, “Are you trying to turn me on so I’ll back off? It’s not gonna happen.
