Caleb

Caleb needed to exercise more. Being a model and actor most of his life Caleb thought he was in good shape. He swam in his private pool every single morning and yet he still felt like he was going to die.

Since Avery was just as out of breath and lagging with him Caleb didn’t feel too bad.

Even Jace and Mitch were struggling.

The only two that seemed to be enjoying the fucking hike was his Daddy and Byron.

“I can’t walk another step,” Avery muttered beside him. “This is ridiculous. If I’m walking to my doom, I’m going to be mad.”

Caleb grinned. Avery’s face was bright red and sweat rolled down the side of his face. They were promised an amazing end to this torturous hike, but Caleb was beginning to have his doubts.

Up ahead on the trail Grant looked back over his shoulder grinning.

Caleb immediately straightened his shoulders and lifted his head. Grant was having such a wonderful time and Caleb would not ruin it.

“Almost there,” Grant called.

Caleb nodded. He was pretty sure Grant had said the same thing ten minutes ago. He wasn’t going to complain. He wasn’t even carrying the backpack. Grant had all their supplies. He just had to get through…

“Oh my God!” Avery screeched.

Caleb just stared ahead of him. As soon as they’d cleared the trees he was presented with the most unbelievable sight. Holy shit. The crystal blue water, sandy bank, and enormous waterfall were breathtaking.

“Come here, pretty baby.”

“Oh.” Caleb hadn’t realized that he’d been staring ahead and everyone else, but Grant had already raced toward the water. He hurried to Grant’s side.

Without hesitation, Grant threw his arm around Caleb’s shoulder.

“Tell me this wasn’t worth the hike,” Grant teased.

Hike isn’t the word that Caleb would have used but yes this was just as astonishing as he’s been promised. “I had no idea this place even existed.”

A soft kiss was placed on his head. “You should have seen your face. I’m glad I could surprise you.”

Caleb beamed up at Grant. “Thank you. This is amazing.”

“Wait until we get in the water. You’ll love it.”

“Yes!” Caleb bounced. He couldn’t wait.

“Come on.” Grant took his hand and helped him down the rest of the trail.

Avery shouted as Jace carried him into the water. Caleb had no idea where Byron and Mitch had disappeared to.

The sand was soft under his heavy hiking boots. Caleb would have plopped down right there to remove them, but Grant continued to tug him closer to the water’s edge.

“Okay, now boy,” he said while laughing.

Caleb didn’t care. He dropped down and removed his boots and socks as quickly as he could. He dug his toes into the sand as he leaned back to undo his shorts then tugged them down.

“Hurry,” he urged Grant as he jumped back to his feet. Skimming out of his shorts he dropped them onto the ground before his shirt followed.

Grant was moving much too slow for him. While Grant toed off his shoes Caleb attacked the buttons and zipper of Grant’s cargo shorts.
