CHAPTER 28

Santiago

“My job HERE is done. You’re very welcome”, Dayana said, kissing each of my cheeks. “I don’t know why, but I’m rooting for you”, she whispered in my ear. “But I’m also rooting for him”. She pointed at Miguel Ángel who laughed out loud at something Malena told him. “She deserves the world”, Dayana added before stepping away to hug Malena goodbye. Then she kissed him, and I thought she probably told him the same, because he looked at me over his shoulder and smiled.

“This was fun”, I said to Malena when her friend got in a car and left us. “Home now?”

“Hmm”. She looked around. “We need more”, she said, staring at a store across the street. “There!” She grabbed my hand and playfully dragged me there. Miguel Ángel followed us.

“Oh, I like your thought process”, he said, checking the window display.

“An adult store, Malena?” I was mortified, especially because I’d prefer to go there with her alone.

“It’s not only an adult store. It has corsets!” She said, hopping in place and clapping. She looked so cute with her hair bouncing in the hair, I softened up immediately.

“Corsets?” I repeated, following both of them inside.

“I need lingerie for my fiancé”, she said after walking straight for the counter.

“Which one?” The young woman behind it asked with a cheeky smile, eyes going from me to Miguel Ángel who smirked.

“This one”. Malena pointed at me, I’m bet, oblivious of the joke.

“At the back and to the left. There’s an entire wall”.

I almost lost her among the racks of lingerie and dildos. For a second, I felt overwhelmed and insecure… inadequate even, which paralyzed me in the middle of the store.

“They’re your friends, not rivals”, Miguel Ángel’s voice said behind my back. “You should get a few”, he suggested, and I must have looked at him with crazy eyes because he lifted his hands. “Look, if you want her to even consider taking you back, you need to show her que no eres un machista de mierda que se intimida con un rabo plástico,1 man”, he said, grabbing a dick the size of her arm and wiggling it before my face. “We’re not built like this; it’s a fact”, he added, “but we can still rearrange her organs with it and then some”. “She likes them that big?” Was the only thing that came to mind, and I felt my balls physically shrinking and the hole in my stomach growing.

“I don’t know, but what if she does?” He shrugged. “Don’t you want to make her happy?” He crossed his arms.

“Of course”, I said without hesitation. “I’ll do anything for her”.

“Then get a few toys and show her you’re not a caveman”, he said, grabbing a butt plug from the next stand and dropping it in my hands with a wink.
