Chapter Twenty-Four

CAMILA

I laid on my back and stared at the ceiling as my husband licked and sucked away at my clit. I wasn’t feeling him right now. I needed more time from him. I needed more from our marriage. I let my mind roam to places I’d rather be, like with Sebastian, so I could come quick. Once I came, I went through the motions of sucking and riding his dick until he came.

I snuggled up close to him and nuzzled my nose into his chest.

I was happy to have him home. He traveled a lot for business and it was hard for me to sleep without him. He draped his arm around me and fell fast asleep.

Even though he lay beside me tonight, I was certain I still wouldn’t get much sleep. As I listened to his heartbeat and the soft sounds of him breathing, I thought about Sebastian and Greg. I was rapidly losing control of my life.

Sebastian walked away from me today. After the run-in with Greg’s wife, I’m sure he will not be seeing me again. Hell, I’d called him earlier, and he picked up but never responded. When the line went dead, I didn’t bother to call back. I figured it wasn’t a good time. I’m pretty sure his wife will have him fire me once she finds out that I work for him. I asked myself how I had gotten here.

I feel like my husband and I need to see a marriage counselor. I’m married to a great man, but I’m lonely. My husband is good to me. I don’t have to work. I work to pass the time. We have a lovely home. We have no kids, which is a decision we both made. I have all the designer shoes, clothes, and purses a girl could ask for. He never tells me no except when I ask him to work less and stay at home more.

I grabbed my phone off the nightstand and pulled the covers over my head to dim the light. I researched several relationship therapists but one stood out because of her five-star reviews, Courtney Beatham. I saved her number in my phone so I could call her in the morning.
