Character Components

The Character class comes with a few different Components, as shown in Figure 6-12. The Capsule Component is used as the boundaries of the Character for the purposes of detecting collisions.

The Arrow Component is used to indicate which direction should be considered facing forward for the Character. So if you had a Mesh of a human, you would want the arrow to be coming straight out of the front of its body.

The Skeletal Mesh Component can be used to assign a Skeletal Mesh to the Character.
