Chapter Five

“No, Daddy, please don’t put that in my bottom!” Alexa struggled to rise up from the bed, but Daddy easily held her firmly in place, bent over with her naked bottom exposed. After she’d refused to leave the house, he’d raised the layers of her skirt and given her a few quick, hard swats. She remained bent over the bed, clutching the covers as heat scorched her face. Unable to look Daddy in the eye, Alexa concentrated on smoothing her skirts out and fixing her disheveled hair.

“All right, Lexie, let’s go.” He clasped her hand and guided her outside.

The sun streamed down from a cloudless blue sky, and Alexa smiled when she noticed the red tulips had finally blossomed in the flowerbeds lining their walkway. The familiar scent of the fresh blooms filled her with joy. Spring was her favorite season by far, and as she gazed around the neighborhood, she smiled to see the cherry blossom buds ready to burst open. Perhaps in a few days the street would be lined with gorgeous trees in full bloom. Daddy guided her to his car, pulling her from her thoughts of flowers and blooming trees.
