Chapter 46

The appearance of Han Ting immediately made the atmosphere in the conference room formal. The opportunity to meet and talk with business tycoons is what many entrepreneurs aspire to. However, perhaps because of his strong presence and sharp gaze, no one in the room dared to meet his gaze. Everyone was a bit uneasy, eager to ask questions but afraid of appearing timid and leaving a bad impression in front of him.

Ji Xing quietly moved back, trying to block the line of sight between the two. At this moment, Han Ting faintly smiled and said, "Are you afraid to speak?"

Ji Xing was startled! She hastily glanced at him, but he looked at everyone, his gaze inadvertently sweeping past her.

Ji Xing silently lowered her head to take notes, listening to their exchanges. They were all specific issues regarding enterprise management and product selection, many of which she had encountered during her own entrepreneurial journey. However, unlike the others who still had doubts, Ji Xing had already solved them all with Han Ting's guidance over the past half year.

The small-scale exchange initially proceeded normally. Everyone was polite and courteous, and after asking their most pressing questions, they handed over the questioning rights to others. However, when it came to Xia Lu, her questions gradually became a private conversation with Han Ting, ranging from professional to non-professional, from work to personal matters.

Ji Xing listened to them chatting harmoniously and silently raised her eyebrows while scribbling random lines in her notebook. But Xia Lu's questions continued one after another, "President Han, I also want to consult you on something... How do you arrange your daily schedule? I feel like one of the biggest challenges after starting a business is that there's never enough time. I heard that successful people are best at using their time. Could you share some examples of how you arrange your time, such as your itinerary for today?"

This last sentence slightly crossed the line.

"My schedule is arranged by my secretary," Han Ting replied, either not wanting to share his itinerary or too lazy to explain it in detail. He joked and easily moved on.

Laughter filled the table. Xia Lu was not at all offended and was amused by his remark.

Ji Xing unintentionally glanced at him and happened to meet his gaze. They locked eyes for a second and he calmly looked away towards Xia Lu, who had asked another question.

Ji Xing suddenly realized that his gaze was always extremely deep and focused whenever he made eye contact with anyone, which could easily make people fall under his spell in just a matter of seconds.

Xia Lu's eyes drifted around when he stared at her. Her face turned red as she asked, "How does Mr. Han balance work and family?"

Everyone could tell that she was trying to find out if he was single.

Han Ting politely smiled and said, "Everyone in my family works for Dongyang, so there's no need to balance."

It was unclear whether "family" referred to his parents, uncles, aunts, brothers, sisters, or wife/girlfriend.
