Split Bill and Calculate Tips Using the Calculator App

Apple watchOS 6 comes with a new app called the Calculator app that has a Tip Function. This tip function enables you to split bill and calculate a tip. Although these functions can be used together, they can be used independently by either choosing a 0% tip, and then selecting the number of people to split the bill with, or by selecting the tip you want to give, and then set the People field to 1.

To use the Tip Function on your Apple Watch, do the following:

Press the Digital Crown to launch your Home screen.

Tap to open the Calculator

app.

Type the total amount of the bill.

Tap Tip, and once the tip box is selected, use the Digital Crown to adjust the percentage of the tip.

If you want to split the bill and tip with others, tap People, and when selected, adjust the number using the Digital Crown.

The screen will display the total bill, tip amount, the number of people paying for the bill and tip, and the amount each person will pay (if applicable).
