Quinn

Quinn rolled over and her eyes fluttered open. A lazy smile stretched across her face when she met her husband’s bright blue ones. Propped up on his elbow with his head resting in his hand, he reached out and traced across her temple, letting the silky strands of her hair glide through his fingers.

“How long have you been awake?”

He shrugged. “Twenty minutes or so.”

“And you’ve been creepily staring at me that whole time.”

“No. I did get up to take a leak and brush my teeth.” He placed his hand on her hip and pulled their bodies together.

He leaned down to kiss her, but she turned her head. “I haven’t brushed my teeth yet.”

Instead, he made contact with the side of her neck and ran his nose along the column, moving down to nip at her collar bone.

“Mmm…last night,” he murmured against her skin.

Quinn inhaled and tried to swallow the stale taste in her mouth. She pushed against his chest and forced a smile before rolling away and padding across the room to the bathroom. A long hot shower would help clear her head. After taking care of business, she stripped off Ian’s oversized T-shirt and her panties, tossed them in the hamper, then walked over to the sink to wash her hands and brush her teeth.

Ian walked up behind her, pressing his warm body against hers, his partial erection poking her in the back. She gave him a sly glance in the mirror as she added the toothpaste to her brush. His hands moved around her waist and made a slow upward journey until he held both breasts.
