She stepped around me, walking across the lot to a small hatchback, where she turned to give me an expectant look before she climbed inside and started the engine.

Dutifully, I jumped into my truck and pulled onto the road just as her car made a left, going east of the diner. After about fifteen miles, she turned down a road, which lead to a few homes that looked similar to those I'd seen just before running into her at the diner.

I parked behind her on the street, moving quickly to follow her up the stone path to her front door. She entered first, and the moment I closed the door behind me, she was on me, jumping into my arms, clutching the back of my head in her hands as her lips found mine in a furious kiss. Dropping my keys to the floor, I palmed her ass and leaned into her taste. Her spice and her sweetness exploded on my tongue, and I groaned into her mouth. When we broke for air, I kicked out of my boots and walked us further into the house while she trailed kisses across my jaw and down my neck. Spotting a sofa, I started to lower her, but she squeezed my shoulder and shook her head.

"Bedroom. Now."

"Yes, ma'am," I drawled, following her directions to the largest of the two bedrooms in the back of the house. Inside, I set her on her feet and started to reach for my shirt when she stopped me.

"Let me, please."

I nodded, refusal not even a passing thought on my mind. I'd expected her to rip my clothes off in a flurry of impatience, but I was hit with another shock from Alicia when she slipped her fingers under the hem of my t-shirt and slowly trailed the tips of her fingers up my chest, bringing the fabric with her. Tossing the article behind her, she popped the snap on my jeans, tugging the zipper down excruciatingly slowly while staring into my eyes. Shoving the material down my thighs, she dropped to a squat in front of me to help me fully step out of them. Instead of immediately rising, she pressed a kiss to my knee and trailed her tongue up my thigh, climbing higher until she reached my nipple. I groaned when she grabbed the usually flat, now puckered, disk between her teeth and tugged.

"Get on the bed."

Giving her the reins meant that I climbed onto her bed without saying a word, folding my arms behind my head and watching with rapt attention as she disrobed before me. With every inch of her sweet-smelling skin that became visible, my anticipation ratcheted up. Naked, she climbed onto the bed but stopped in the middle instead of crawling toward me. On her knees a couple of feet away from me, she crooked a finger my way.

"Come," she commanded.

And I did, expeditiously; the excitement of my wolf not allowing me to sit still when beckoned. Pushing up onto my knees, I crawled toward her.
