Internal production of heat

When tissue is damaged or stressed (such as when overworked, diseased, wounded, or deprived of nourishment for some other reason), the body produces heat at that location. And this same principle applies to the internal organs. When these are exhausted from overwork or are not properly nourished, this would cause the organ to produce heat.

In the case of patients with poor heart function, the heat produced by the stressed tissue of their heart would be experienced in the form of some, or all, of the symptoms in list “C” on page ref:
