5. Learn more about a suggested app by tapping it, as shown in figure 4-3. The developer’s description appears in the window. It’s essentially a brochure about the app, where you see details like version number, system requirements, sample screen shots, and other important information, like how many people how downloaded it and what they think about the app.

6. On the right, you can tap Developer Page to see other apps from the same company, Tell a Friend to email someone a link to the app, or Gift This App to purchase a copy on behalf of someone else.

7. I checked out every app that came up in the search… it was a tough decision but I decided to try a free app first and if I like it, I’ll try their paid version, which probably has more features. If you decide you want it, tap the price button (even if the price is FREE). Then tap it again when it changes to BUY APP or INSTALL APP. Once the installation kicks in, the App Store will close and return you to your Home screen, where you’ll notice the new app’s icon appears, showing an installation progress bar. When the bar goes away, the app is installed and ready to use!
