It was interesting for NASA to even respond to Tinsel Rupertâs blog post. But there it was, amongst even more responses by fans of the little short girl singer â fans who decided to tell Tinsel exactly what they thought of her in support of their favorite idolâs original post calling Tinsel an âawful person.â
NASAâs response read in full: âMrs. Rupert, we at NASA were all very saddened to hear of your husbandâs death. His mission, although not advised, was viewed upon by us as an exciting undertaking by an individual that hopefully, although for its sad conclusion, inspires others to look beyond themselves and strive for something more.
âIn response to your comments about past missions of ours, yes, we did have, at one time, a prototype mission to Mars. The design of the craft for that mission was so named NS447, but any comparisons between our craft and the craft constructed by your husbandâs company for his mission simply are not true. NASA never has, nor ever will, release any of its own designs to the public.
âIn response to your comments about life forms aboard the NS447, yes, there were in fact two monkeys named Tim and Roger aboard. We want to make very clear that Tim and Roger, although having designated functions for the mission, were in no way qualified or trained to pilot the ship they were in. The monkeys aboard the NS447 simply were not astronauts. It is understandable that in the similar circumstances of the fate of your husband and our own NS447 mission, you have speculated on other possible similarities. Please know that aside from the sadness we feel for the outcome of your husbandâs mission and the sadness we still feel for the outcome of our NS447 mission, no other similarities exist. All conjecture on the matter simply would not be true and will never be recognized by us as such.
âWe want to thank you for your interest in our past endeavors and truly wish you and your family the best in their lives going forward.â
âSpace nerds,â was Tinselâs immediate response, looking down at her phone. âThey need to be more clever in their lyinâ.â
âLordy,â Marioâs voice came from the speakers, âif I wasnât the guy himself, Iâd believe I was dead too.â
âNow you just hold on, baby.â Tinsel looked over at the console. âI told you, I got some people cominâ who are gonna help us.â
âI sure hope so, girl.â
âWeâre getting a little far from being helped, Mrs. Rupert,â Chuck spoke up now as he turned from his laptop. âIâm really sorry, but if NASA isnât going to do anything, it really doesnât look good for your husband right now. He really doesnât have that much time left.â
âYouâre still not doinâ much to earn your cookinâ school, Chuck,â was Tinselâs response to that. She went back to her phone, but then glanced back up a moment at him. âYouâre sure about them monkeys, though?â
âI did call my friends at NASA again,â Chuck replied.
