Masters give you the ability to repeat entire sections across the design or just a small piece. When you update a master it updates the design on every page you have added the master.

Master pane

Masters are created on the master pane, which you can see in the lower left hand side of the Axure workbench. The master pane will allow you to manage your existing masters by adding, deleting, renaming and moving them, exactly like you do with pages in the sitemap.

When you open a master, it will look a lot like a page. In fact, the master is just like any other page. Widgets and objects are dropped onto the master to create the design. Widgets can be formatted individually or the widget style editor can apply global formatting to widgets on the master.
