Chapter Nine

They say that time flies when you are having fun. I can agree with that! My first year whizzed right by. The uppers that attacked me were expelled shortly after the incident. Their parents actually took their case to court to save their poor innocent sons military careers. It never went to actual trial. The parents of the boys made a mistake. Or rather I should say the boys made a mistake. They forgot about the cameras that recorded the entire incident. They pursued the case anyway trying to paint the picture that I was a big strong abnormal teenager with rage issues. The judge read all the information provided in the pretrial and threw the case out of court. His exact words were, “Three fifteen year old boys surround and intimidate an eight year old girl and because she successfully defends herself they call it a mistake?” Thank the Gods for genetics.

Year two at Three Ships was going to be an adventure. I spent the summer break on campus rather than go home. Father allowed me a single week of visitation before sending me away again. My insolence against those better than me was the stated reason. He told me this after I arrived home when school let out.
