Lady Olivia returned to her rooms and sat lightly on the settee. Hanna helped her to get out of her dress and into a light gown. She smiled as she thought of the attractive young man with the blond hair and green eyes who would be taking her letters to her father. He was clearly flustered by meeting her, and though he attempted to hide it, she could tell that he was smitten.

This made her laugh, as she had this effect on many young men. She remembered seeing him at the Royal Ball as well, quite handsome in his formal uniform, and wondered why she did not ask his name. When he returned, she would do so and perhaps thank him for his service by inviting him to tea. That would be nice, though she planned to spend very little time here after her father informed the king of his failing health.
