The Corvette had gone sometime while he was unconscious.

RayRay was dead, and Shirley had gotten away, if she’d ever even been here.

Clem stood in the parking lot, unsure of what to do. He was the last Farris. Last of the cursed bloodline. Eventually, he got in the car and went home.
