Chapter Seven

I look up in to Caleb’s brown eyes and see my home. I smile and pull away and grab his hand. “Come meet my brother and his group,” I say, pulling a shocked faced Caleb over to the group. “Well I didn’t get introduced to anyone besides Jonathan and, Chris, his mate,” I say, looking to Jonathan who nods as he turns to Theron. The smile they share shows he knows who he is.

“Well, old man, looks like you’re back in the game. Where have you been, old friend?” Jonathan says to Theron as they clasp hands.

Theron chuckles and shakes hands with Jonathan. “Well, it seems I’ve been keeping your sister safe. She and her mother were my last mission before I disappeared. Her mother didn’t make it so I hid, taking her with me,” Theron says as he looks at me with love. We did have a good life together. Jonathan looks from Theron to me, and I see warmth in his eyes. He is a kind man, with an open heart.

“Well, old man,” Jonathan says as he pats Theron on the shoulder, “you did a great job. You kept her safe for a long time. I never even knew she existed, until Chris saw her in a vision. We fought Draken a few months back. We won the fight, but he survived and has been hiding since,” Jonathan says as he looks to the rest of Caleb’s family. Still holding Caleb’s hand, I look up at him and nod to his family.

“Well, introductions are in order. I’m Caleb, Tobias and Camilla are my parents,” Caleb says as he points to his parents. They nod their heads to the other group. “And this handsome devil right here is Chaz, my twin brother,” he says as his almost exact double steps forward. My jaw drops seeing his twin. They look almost identical except for their eyes. Where Caleb’s are brown with gold flecks making them light in color, Chaz’s are very dark brown. Chaz also has a five o’clock shadow. His hair is shaggy brown and his build is the same as Caleb’s. Wow, he is handsome, but he isn’t Caleb.

Chaz nods his head as he looks at me with a wide smile. Then he drags his eyes from me to the other group. He seems kind of apprehensive of them. I can’t blame him, they just faced off a horde of evil vampires and wolves. He steps back as a few more men step forward. “These hooligans are Noah, Conner, Cole, and Logan. They are our cousins, and they are training with us. We train all new hunters, then send them back to their units,” Caleb says. The men nod their heads and step back. Then a girl with beautiful, long flowing brown hair steps forward. Her eyes are the same as Caleb, and her skin is the same tan as his also.

“This little firecracker is my baby sister, Grace. She is the youngest of us here,” he says with so much pride, he loves her dearly.
