‘Hi, Dad, got a minute?’

‘Sure, Hun. What’s on your mind?’

‘I just wanted to catch up with you about all this.’

Denise waved her hand at his nakedness as he knelt on the bathroom floor, cloth in hand.

‘Ok,’ Graham said.

‘You’re ok with it, how Mom is treating you, right?’

‘I am,’ said Graham. ‘But it’s sweet of you to worry.’

Graham waited as Denise thought of how to phrase the next question. He could tell she was choosing her words by the way she bit her bottom lip.

‘And me, being a woman, being over you, as it were, spanking you?’

Graham smiled, taking her hand.

‘Yes, I am ok with that too. I know when I sit back and think about everything, it can become a bit overwhelming and challenging too. Is that happening to you?’

‘Oh it has,’ said Denise. ‘But I always come out the other side, stronger in my certainty that I am a submissive, just like you.’

‘A chip off the old block, eh?’

Denise laughed.

‘How about you? Do you always come out the other side stronger in your beliefs?’

‘I do,’ said Graham. ‘This is a lifestyle I could not have accepted, say, ten years ago, five even. I wasn’t strong enough in myself back then. That’s why I am so impressed and proud of you. Knowing yourself so well, you can commit yourself to another’s desires the way we do. Doing things to please them that don’t in themselves please us.’

‘True, but, for me at least, it is not as selfless as you say. I enjoy the humiliation, the pain, the service, I enjoy it all.’

‘Well, that’s good, right?’

‘Yes, but I also enjoy....’ Denise blushed. ‘Doing stuff to you.’

‘Oh, I see. And you are in a dilemma about that?’

‘Yes, on two fronts. First as a submissive, I’m surprised I like being dominant with you, and second, I need to know you are enjoying it to, on some level, so I can enjoy it freely, without guilt.’

Graham laughed.

‘It’s a confusing lifestyle. I’ll give you that. So many emotions, thoughts, feelings, often paradoxically opposed to one another, all coming together to make it feel right somehow.’

‘Yes, that’s it exactly.’

‘Then worry not,’ said Graham.

‘You know Irene and Mom are talking,’ said Denise.

‘I’d imagine they are, yes,’ said Graham.

‘I mean about us,’ said Denise, ‘about us doing stuff to each other.’

Graham nodded.

‘I know they were having those conversations but your Mom has said it doesn’t feel right, you being her daughter and all, albeit adopted daughter.’

‘That’s what she said in front of Alice,’ said Denise. ‘But we both know Mom’s love of humiliation and me being your daughter hasn’t stopped her spanking me in front of you has it, or her spanking you, or me spanking you for that matter, not to mention that... it..... you know....getting hard.’

‘No, that’s true.’

‘Always naked, have you noticed? The spanking, I mean.’

Graham blushed and looked down.

Denise lifted his face by placing her finger under his chin.

Denise blushed and nodded.
