Chapter 16
I wasnât sure where I was within that dream world, but it was somewhere warm. Warmer than any dream Iâd had in months.
As my consciousness began to take over, I realized the source of that warmth wasnât my dreams. It was real. It had all been real.
He shifted, his arm that was draped over my waist tugged me tighter against him. The front of his body molded to the back of mine, and I tried to think through my lust-induced haze as I felt his long, thick, hardness pressing into the small of my back.
There was nothing I could do about that this morning, if the dull ache between my legs was any indication. A delicious ache. An ache I wouldnât mind dealing with over and over again.
Dom shifted again, some kind of grumble coming out of his beautiful mouth. For some reason I couldnât explain, I tried to keep my breathing steady. I closed my eyes, pretending to still be asleep. His fingers drew small circles across my skin. I savored the feeling of it, of all of him, as he began moving his lips against my back, up my neck, and along my jaw.
I kept my eyes closed as I felt him sit up on his elbow and brush a stray piece of hair away from my forehead. âPretty girl,â he whispered quietly before brushing his lips against that spot.
My chest fluttered, and I wanted so badly to turn over and drink in a sleepy, bed-headed, early morning Dominic Evans, so that I could burn that image into my memory, since I was fairly certain Iâd never see it again.
But that thought made my stomach plummet, and I kept my eyes closed because I knew that if I allowed myself to see himâto savor himâI may never be able to let him go.
And I knew that I would need to.
I let Dom stay the night last night because after we finished, I realized it was after midnight, and I didnât want him driving home in a post-orgasm exhaustion because I didnât want to live with the guilt of him crashing his fancy-ass car.
I told him that bluntly, and he, even more brazenly, told me he never planned on leaving to begin with.
Keeping my eyes closed, I heard Dom quietly get out of bed. I heard the shuffling of clothes, and the calculatedly silent footsteps that led toward the hallway, before the click of my bedroom door shutting closed.
I wasnât quite sure how Iâd let things go so far. I only intended to tease him back in the same way he was teasing me. And somehow that led to me confessing to him my deepest sexual desires, which in turn led to a breath-stealing kiss, and multiple soul-shattering orgasms, when he eagerly fulfilled those desires Iâd been too afraid to speak to anyone about.
Iâd asked Jeremy once if he would tie me up, and he blatantly declined. He not only rejected the idea, but he had seemed outright disturbed that I had the gall to ask.
