THE GAME CONTINUES like this for the rest of the first half. We’re scoring goals like we’re a bunch of crazy maniacs. The score is currently at 4 – 0. Yeah, that’s what I’m talking about! Andrew's as happy as ever, his perfect smile extending out to the size of the entire field. Now, if that could only happen for real. That would be the best thing to witness. We currently have a ten-minute intermission before the second half begins.

“That was totally amazing,” I gasped.

Andrew looks at me with a look of approval on his face once again. Sometimes he doesn’t even have to say a word for me to know what he’s thinking. I’ve tried to do that to other people, but it doesn’t always work out. But with him? It works all the time.

"Right, bro!"

“I’m sure they would have scored an additional goal if you were on the field,” I giggled.

He smiles, looking at me with a look of 'yeah right' on his face.

"Nah, man," he chuckled. "It takes an entire team and not just one person."

While he is certainly right on that, he shouldn’t doubt himself, since I can easily tell that’s what he’s doing.

“If you say so,” I grinned. “We can argue later; can I treat you to something to drink?”

There’s no way he can say no to that question. Especially since he knows I’m the one paying.

“Yeah, get me a root beer,” he requested.

“Will do,” I smiled.

To be honest, if I had my way, I would be spoiling him more often than I currently am. There’s just this slight sense of satisfaction I get deep down whenever I buy him something. The more I buy for him, the better I feel. I’m honestly not sure why that is, but I’m not going to question it.
