Put in the simplest of terms, pretty much everybody has something that, “puts them in the mood.” When that particular stimulus (whatever it may be) occurs and the opportunity is there, people generally have sex. Not only that, but they generally do it very compulsively; as if something other than him or herself were manning the controls, causing the act and the events leading up to it to happen. This may not be apparent most of the time because people generally want sex more often than they have the opportunity to actually get it (of course this is coming from a man; feel free to disagree on this point). However, when one decides that that they don’t want to have sex for whatever reason, following through is often easier said than done. Old habits die hard and this is the oldest of habits.
