As you exit, the entrance to Roxelana’s mausoleum is to your right. While not as impressive as her husband’s, it’s worth a look. Enjoy the attractive tiles, and notice the “stalactites” decorating the niches between the windows. Roxelana’s cenotaph is the first one, surrounded by an attractive inlaid wood panel. Take a close look at the workmanship—thousands of tiny wood pieces were studded in to create its elegance.
