Chapter Nine: Desperation

It takes longer for her heat to break this time and she is so exhausted after orgasming for so many times that she does not bother leaving the bed for the whole day. He takes the opportunity to get some work done around the house. His animals need feeding and care and he has someone look through the security footage to ensure that no idiots are attempting to break into his home.

It would take more than a careful sleuthing to break in. He employs several werewolves and bear shifters to keep his home secure.

She appears in his study in the evening with a bowl of milk that she's managed to prepare on her own, looking incredibly pleased with herself as she curls up at his feet and helps herself.

"Did you sleep well?" he asks.

She nods as she licks into the bowl.

"I'm sorry. I've taken much longer than I thought it would take with this work. I'll have something prepared for you shortly," he says.

She shakes her head. "I know how to cook."

He startles and looks down at her. She still isn't looking at him. "You know how to cook?" he asks, something in his jaw clenches.

She nods. "I can cook something for you, if you want?" she offers.

It is the most he has heard her speak since she's arrived in his compound. He wonders if it is the result of what they were doing in bed. Has she gotten better? "Anna?" he tries.

She ignores him.

"Kitten?"

Her ears perk up and she blinks owlishly at him. "Yes?" she asks.

"Where did you learn to cook?" he asks carefully.

She shrugs. "Here and there," she answers vaguely and is promptly distracted by the milk, licking up what's left in her bowl.

He suspects there is more to her answer, but doesn't try to pry.

Later, he prepares their dinner and have it together, with her on his lap as they eat from the same plate. She is a little warm to the touch and still smells like arousal, sweet and fragrant. He had hoped to get used to the scent, but is still affected by how good she smells. He finds himself spending as much time eating as he is rubbing his nose to her neck to drink in her scent.

She is still lactating, however, so they spend some time on the dining table milking her. She's gotten very good with that too, wriggling only a little while he pinches her nipples and spurts warm milk into a glass bottle that she obediently holds to the tip of her nipple.

It is completely perverted and absolutely arousing.

He brings her to the animals in the evening, setting her with the pups so she can practice play-fighting them.
