Chapter Four: Double Date

“Come along,” Anya said, pulling at my leash to coax me forward. The motion pulled me along a little bit, but only just enough to make the bell on my collar jingle, and I stayed, seated on the floor on all fours. “Be a good boy. Come on.”

I flushed and looked away, biting down harder on the black rubber ball gag she had stuffed in my mouth. It wasn’t that I was trying to disobey her, or even that I didn’t want to do this. This had actually been one of the scenes that we negotiated and planned in advance. While we certainly had explicit limits, and clear lists of what we were both into, in general Anya took the lead in whatever we were doing. I was usually surprised to find myself in whatever humiliating state of domination she put me in, and I at least had the deniability of being bullied into it.

But not this time. No, this was something we had talked about, planned, and decided on days before, before the cuffs came out. And somehow, that made it even worse.

“What’s wrong, Kitty?” Anya asked, squatting down to my level. I looked away instinctively, rattling the bell attached to my collar again, and gave an embarrassed huff. “Hmm?” she asked, running her hand through my hair and instinctively correcting the position of the cat ears she had put on me. Even if I could have answered her through the gag, I probably wouldn’t have, my face was so red and my heart beating so loudly. “You want me to call this off?” she asked, the sincerity in her voice throwing me off. Anya was normally so good at knowing my limits that she didn’t have to ask, she knew exactly how far she could push me before she had to pull it back a bit, she didn’t generally need me to tell her. I supposed my hesitance had caught her off-guard.

After a moment’s hesitation I shook my head, jingling the bell around my neck again. In truth, I really did want to do this. Pet play was one of my more personal fantasies, one of the few things I had explicitly asked Anya for early in our relationship. She had been more than happy to oblige, and constantly teased me about it, but it was still a fantasy that was more mine than hers. Still, that didn’t make this any less scary, and I took a moment to take in a deep breath to try and calm my nerves.

“In that case…” Anya said, the edge of her lips twitching with eagerness. “Let’s hear you meow, Kitty.”

I flushed and looked down at the floor, the silver chain connecting the leather cuffs on my wrists standing out against the cream-colored carpet. I could hear my heartbeat in my chest, pouding louder in anticipation and embarrassment. After a few beats I managed to work up enough courage to let out a single, tiny ‘meow’, barely audible through the rubber ball gag.
