In Sedona Lester Levenson aspired to give his personal realization and awakening with constant bliss to the world and together with a group of pupils he developed the program which is taught until today by his pupils in Sedona, New York and Perth, Australia. These three organizations grew to international fame and the success stories reported can be read all over the internet. Moreover Lester went to Phoenix in 1962 and started groups there, between 1965 and 1970 he was active in Los Angeles. He also entered scientific projects to end poverty in the world and create more energy for the masses. He was incredibly spontaneous and could work for film projects day and night without sleeping.

He described the state of mind of a master to his pupils with the word "hootlessness". It minds that a master is so detached from the world that he is pure love without any desires or aspiration. He needs not even to do something, he is pure Beingness in Awareness. It is for persons who don't meditate hard to imagine how this works. I only can say that the dissolution of emotion happens slowly when a person starts focusing inward on her body and all sensations and thoughts that might come up. When we dive deeper into the feelings behind body and behavior patterns it is easy to change or stop them. These patterns, called samskaras in the Indian yoga science, are like addictions and bring us to react or talk where we better would stay calm and concentrated.

Lester was a model for imperturbability and equanimity. One of his favorite sentences was:

"Emotion is EGO in Motion!"

He had learnt to dominate his temper and dissolved all his emotions so that he could just stay in peace all the time. Everywhere he presented himself like an absolute miracle to all persons in his surrounding and his enormous love flowed into the heart of everybody around although he seemed to be rather far away from what we call emotions. Later he expressed this from the view of a master in more critical words: "To be back to our world of existence meant to him diving into misery and problems again and see how difficult everyone's normal life is. This task means a huge effort to a realized master who enjoys total freedom and bliss."
