We danced for another two hours until finally I was exhausted. My feet couldnât take it anymore. Even though they looked fab in the shoes Iâd changed into, they were aching. Simone and Kristine had already left the club so it was just Logan and me.
We left Club Paradise together and headed for the elevator. As we walked, I wondered if Logan was going to ask me to come back to his cabin. If he did, I didnât know what I was going to say. Iâve always felt that when it came to my first time, I would know. Instinctively.
I still wasnât sure. The truth was, I barely knew Logan.
But maybe it was like swimming for the first time. You just had to take the plunge.
âWhat floor are you on?â Logan asked as we walked into the elevator and the doors closed behind us.
âSix.â
He pressed the button for six and then two, which was his floor. The elevator started to descend.
âHave you ever done this before?â he asked, pressing the stop button. The elevator instantly came to a halt. Then he turned to me with a devilish grin and began walking closer, backing me into a corner of the elevator. My heart began pounding with excitement as I wondered what was going to happen next.
Once I was in the corner, he reached for my arms, holding them over my head with one hand.
Then he started kissing me.
First he started along the side of my neck, leaving a trail of kisses. One. Two. Three. Then he arrived at my face, kissing my cheeks before moving to my lips.
His kisses were intoxicatingâI felt like an addict who wanted more, more, more!
I wanted to wrap my arms around him, but I couldnât, so instead I wrapped a leg around him, pulling him close as his free hand began moving up my other leg and along my back. With Loganâs every kiss and touch, my entire body was crackling with tingles of excitement.
Just as I started to wonder how far we would go, we heard voices.
âIs there something wrong with this elevator?â
âWhy isnât it coming? I keep pressing the button.â
Logan pulled away from me. âLooks like the partyâs over,â he said, hitting the start button. The elevator began moving. Seconds later it stopped on six. My legs felt like jelly, but I managed to walk off the elevator.
âSee you tomorrow,â I said, wanting him to step off the elevator and follow me back to my cabin. I wanted to say the words, but I couldnât get them out. Part of me did, but another part wanted Logan to take control and make the decision for me.
He didnât.
âSweet dreams,â he said as the elevator doors closed on him, giving me that same devilish smile he had earlier.
