Cheaâs Adventure
Flying through the sky was terrifying. I have looked down upon the mortal world, from atop my fatherâs domain before. Seeing the clouds below me was not a problem, even the land below was not that frightening. It was the speed at which we were moving that was most terrifying.
Clouds the size of Sky Titans flew past us in the blink of an eye. At those speeds the ground threatened to rush towards us at any moment. Those jets we were in are nothing like the sky chariots my uncles used. Nothing in any of my stories could compete with these impossible speeds.
Leaving the ride, everyone was disorientated. I could barely tell which way was up from down. During our confusion, Lyeh rushed off. Her cheerful smile was shining bright. I could not understand why, but she was very excited about this place. Either way, I was happy that she was happy.
At first I thought Lyeh had some kind of plan which was why she ran off. I followed only to see her stop at a food stall to acquire a rather large leg from some bird. After which she headed to meet up with Sign. I donât think she even realized I was following her.
Feeling grumpy. I made an act of being separated and clung to Lyeh like a damsel in distress. Turning to look at me in shock, Lyeh didnât even notice she left everyone behind. She is such a child sometimes, itâs adorable. Heroes truly are a wonderful source of entertainment. I am glad I made her my first friend.
This amusement park we were brought to has many interesting sights. However, it is far too crowded for my tastes. I would much rather be back at that fortress watching more shows with Lyeh. Cuddling up with a good story has always been my favorite pastime. The sweets are also a nice treat.
Watching a story play out alongside my new friend was quickly becoming my new favorite pastime. Even if the stories here are a bit too intimate. Reading about holding hands or kissing is one thing, but to see it. And to see the characters you know so well doing such while Lyeh and everyone else was sitting in the same room. It was a bit too much for me.
People in general are too much for me. I would rather play more games with Lyeh or even that fairy. Mortals are what you read stories about. Seeing so many in one place simply makes my skin crawl. Though this might make interacting with our small group easier for me. Our small group of students is nothing compared to the countless mortals roaming around this park.
Still clinging to Lyeh we stopped at another food stall. This one had a delightful aroma wafting off of it. Mimicking Lyeh, I ordered a bag of something fried and passed my bracelet over some detector. Savoring the flavor of oily bread crumbs and shrimp was a delight. I happily tossed them into my mouth and enjoyed each searing crush.
