Chapter 6

Last night was incredible, as I ended up staying over Lucy's loft with her, where we did it again after dinner, then as a late-night snack. I felt like I couldn't drink water or those electrolyte drinks fast enough. It was clearly a good problem to have. As I expected for a volleyball player, she was pretty flexible, and 69'ing with her was so much easier; I didn't feel like I had to scrunch up so much so we could reach each other.

I let myself out while she was still sleeping and hopped in the shower at my place. It still seemed weird, my place. My stuff was still in boxes, and so it felt so sterile, like a hotel room. My phone dinged, and glancing down at it while I sipped coffee while staring at the horizon, I saw it was Alexa. My heartbeat raced for a moment. Cooking was not my forte, and even though Alexa was kind enough to get the kitchen stocked with food before my arrival, I didn't have it in me to go make anything. A few clicks later on my phone, and I was having breakfast delivered to me from the local brunch spot. While I waited for my food, I set to getting some of my stuff out of the moving boxes.
