TWENTY-FOUR

jt

I COVERED MY yawn with my sleeve as I practically sleepwalked into class the next morning. My late night had made me hit my alarm a few too many times, and I’d barely made it here on time.

But hey, the important thing was that I was here. Not still in my bed running through the events of last night that I couldn’t stop thinking about.

West’s mouth around my dick. West getting himself—and me—off on the phone.

I couldn’t believe the way my body responded, the way it reacted even now. It made shit for sense, but I couldn’t deny the way I wanted him to touch me again. Hell, it was making me half-hard as I dropped into an empty seat in the back of the room and set up my laptop. Without a way to release the ache that was building, I reached for my trusty notebook, flipping it to the page I’d started on last night. I’d scrawled a few lines about the way I was feeling when I couldn’t sleep, something that always helped when I was confused or the emotions were too much.

As I read them back now, it did nothing to help the pulsing of my cock, only served to remind me of the hot-as-hell moments with someone I’d never expected. I couldn’t even blame any of this on West, not when I’d been the one to ask him to kiss me, to touch me. To blow my fucking mind. I’d fully expected to wake up with nothing but regret, but to my utter shock, all I could think about now was wanting to do it again.

Who the hell was I?

I shifted uncomfortably in my seat before having to reach down to adjust my dick in its confines. Shit, maybe getting out of bed had been a bad idea after all.

Or maybe you shouldn’t have gone out partying, a voice said in the back of my mind.

I ignored it.

As I added a couple more lines to the poem, I didn’t notice the shadow that fell across the paper from someone standing over me.

“If English class had included reading poems like that, maybe I would’ve paid more attention.”

I quickly covered my page. “What are you doing here?” I whispered as West sat down beside me like he had nowhere else to be.

“Oh, come on. Don’t act like you aren’t thrilled to see me.”

I glanced at the front of the room, where my professor was still getting his notes together for the lesson, and then back at West. Shaking my head, I couldn’t help biting back a smile, because damn, the guy was relentless, and too bold for his own good.

“You can admit it, you know,” he said, keeping his eyes on mine as my face heated.

I couldn’t help the blush, not when seeing him here felt like a continuation of last night. When I could still hear his ragged breathing in my ear. I’d been able to picture the way he looked when it happened, but my imagination was shit compared to having him here right in front of me.
