12. Itâs time to cut! Be sure to wet the knife blade by dipping the tip of the knife into the bowl of water and letting it drip down the edge of the blade. Uramaki is typically cut into eight pieces. The easiest way to do this is to cut it in half, right down the middle. Then cut each of those pieces in half, and then once again into halves.
