Andrea's heart overflowed as each person came

up in turn to shake her hand, hug her or kiss her

on the cheek. It was almost as if she were seeing them all again for the first

time, fresh and new. Perhaps they had changed. Perhaps she was the one that

changed. It is said that the Goddess changes what she touches.

Catherine took her by the hands, her face with excitement for her friend, and led Andrea back to

the circle edge.

"Now, we really are sisters," said Andrea as they took their places.

"Yes, my friend, we really are sisters."

Catherine clasped hands with Andrea lacing their

fingers together as the rest of the ritual occurred.

All the while, Andrea thought. I am now, Morning Rayne, the acolyte

of the God and Goddess, here with my family, where I will always remain.
