Tap the Invitations button in Calendar to view calendar invites sent to Exchange and other compatible accounts.

To accept invitations in other accounts, go to Mail and tap the ICS invitation file in the e-mail that contains the invite.

The iPad comes with the Notes app to, as you’d expect, let you take notes. You can use Notes to do everything from jotting down notes at meetings to keeping to-do lists. It isn’t like iWork Pages or Quickoffice by any means, but for taking notes and making lists on the fly, it’s a great little app.
